The Midlothian Fit for Girls committee met in January to discuss ways of growing girls sport in Midlothian.
Our Midlothian Fit for Girls (FFG) Committee met for the first time this year with its existing and new members. The group consists of 15 members representing 5 high schools who have a passion to grow girls sport in the local area. The committee enjoyed an interactive FFG workshop which took place at Lasswade Centre and was delivered by Sport Scotland tutors, Roisin, Rebecca & Heather.

Another major aspect of the project is to raise the profile and capture insightful information which then can be presented to the wider community of teachers and staff within all Midlothian schools. This can highlight the importance of driving any necessary change, creating a sense of community for all girls in a physical education and extra-curricular capacity.
