Introduction: Cycling

Cycling, also called bicycling or biking, is the use of bicycles for transport, recreation, exercise or sport. ... They are the principal means of transportation in many parts of the world. Cycling is widely regarded as a very effective and efficient mode of transportation optimal for short to moderate distances.

 

 

 

Where to attend: 

Cycling is offered through out the Midlothian Active Schools network via bikeability sessions. These sessions provide pupils with an introduction to road saftey along with some bike related skills. Cycling is a great recrationanal activity, many children and adult use cycling as a mode of transport to travel between school or the office. If you are looking to take cycling to the next level why not join one of the clubs below.
