The annual Walk The Line event will be taking place on Saturday the 30th September.
The walk will take place on Saturday 30th September. Adults and kids are welcome (children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult). Please check weather reports for the day and wear appropriate footwear and clothing and also have water with you to keep hydrated.
Registration for the 8 mile walk will take place at Valleyfield Pond car park in Penicuik. Registration opens at 10:45am and the walk will commence at 11:15am
Registration for the 5 mile walk will also take place at Valleyfield Pond car park in Penicuik. Registration opens at 10:45am and the walk will commence at 11:15am (The 5 mile walk participants will finnish at Rosewell)
Registration for the 3 mile walk will take place at Hawthornden, Cemetary Road end, Rosewell. Registration opens at 12 noon. You will join the other walkers at 12:30pm for a picnic lunch before setting off on the walkway to Eskbank.

This year we have introduced a 1 mile walk. Registration for the 1 mile walk will take place opposite Waverley Court at the old Bonnyrigg railway station. Registration opens at 12:30pm, joining the other walkers at 1pm.

You can also book tickets online this year at www.midlothian.gov.uk/leisure Please choose the book a fitness class link, log in or create an account and search for Walk The Line in the Browse Tickets Section. See the attached tutorial video on how to book online. When booking online tickets please bring the tickets along on the day, either printed or visible on your phone. Please note that the information on the ticket is generic and registration times and places for the various registrations and start times are as above on this page.
