Over 160 pupils taking part

The second Primary Hockey Festival for 2023/24 was hosted by Active Schools Midlothian and took place on Thursday the 21st of March.
We were thrilled to have 16 teams participating from 14 schools, allowing over 160 pupils to enjoy a great morning of hockey.
The event was run in a round robin fashion with two leagues taking place simultaneously, the winners of the leagues then played in a final match, it was a close match where Lasswade PS just pipped Stobhill PS to victory.
The event was organised and ran by Active Schools, with support from Eskvale Hockey, Scottish Hockey and Lasswade High School who provided umpires. A special thanks to all the umpires and support we received on the day.
