Yoga for Children

Active Schools Midlothian are working with Janie Davie to offer Children & Family Yoga Sessions

Children's Yoga! It's fun, playful and interactive.  We demonstrate this in class by using poses (asanas), games and partnerwork.

Stretching helps with coordination, agility, injury prevention.

Research has shown that children who practice yoga can:

- Perform better at school

- Be more calm in class

- Improve concentration levels

- Be more compassionate and caring with peers

- Improve sleep patterns 

There are two classes to choose from, both running at Dalkeith Campus:

Family Yoga (5-11 years) - Mondays 4.30 - 5.15pm

28th October - 9th December (7 week block)


Children's Yoga (5-8 years) - Thursdays 4.30 - 5.15pm

31st October - 12th December (7 week block)
